[00:00:04] Hello and welcome to the Audio Bible podcast today. We are going to read Psalm chapter 119 and this is a very long psalm. It's well known for its length. It's 176 verses and consists of separate units and each of these units has its first word beginning with a consecutive letter of the Hebrew alphabet used as a memory aid.

[00:00:26] And so the first verse begins with the first letter of the alphabet, Aleph, the first letter of the word blessed. And the last unit of the psalm verses 169 to 176 begins with Tav, the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Now I do not know Hebrew, but I'm going to try to read the Hebrew letter ahead of the section or ahead of the unit so that you know where the next unit begins. So please forgive my pronunciation if I do not pronounce one correctly.

[00:00:54] But thanks for tuning in and looking forward to reading Psalm 119 as we continue to read the word of God aloud together.
