My favorite Bible podcast!

I love this podcast and am so thankful for it! As a business-owning mom of two young kids, it’s hard to find time to sit down and read my Bible consistently. Now I know I can turn it on in the car and listen to the Word of God, simply the Bible. The soft music in the background adds to my focus, and his voice/timing/ca...

ABOUT

A gentle, practical path forward

In 1982, when I was 12 years old, I lost my father. His death was sudden, tragic, and deeply traumatic for our family. My mother was left with three young children and a $15,000 life insurance payout — money that had to cover the funeral, the burial plot, the headstone, and somehow last beyond that moment.

In the middle of shock and grief, she had to make every decision alone. What kind of funeral? What kind of burial? Which headstone? Each choice carried emotional weight, yet there was no guide, no plan, and no support for navigating those decisions while in such a vulnerable state.

That experience shaped my understanding of how overwhelming loss can be — not just emotionally, but logistically. I learned early how important planning is, and how much stress and confusion can fall on the people left behind when there’s no guidance in place.

I once heard a comedian say that people often put more thought into building a burrito than they do into thinking about their own end-of-life wishes. It was meant as a joke, but it landed because there’s truth in it — and it’s our loved ones who end up carrying the weight of that lack of planning.

My goal is to gently remind people that a little preparation can spare the people you care about from unnecessary pain and pressure. I want to create tools and resources that make end-of-life planning clearer, calmer, and more manageable. Not all at once, not with pressure, but step by step — in a way that feels supportive rather than overwhelming.

And I want people to know this: regardless of your economic situation, there are resources available. Planning isn’t only for those with means. Everyone deserves clarity, dignity, and support. This brand exists to offer what my family didn’t have: a gentle, practical path forward — warm, human, and straightforward.

What's the podcast about?

Leaving with Love guides listeners through the logistical side of preparing for death so that loved ones aren't left with a heavy administrative burden.

Why would I need checklists for end-of-life planning?

There are dozens of decisions, documents, and tasks that fall to family members. Checklists simplify the process, reduce confusion, and ensure nothing important is missed.

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to get organized and prepared—especially those who don't want their family struggling with paperwork, decisions, and logistics during grief.

Are the checklists actionable?

Yes. They are designed as step-by-step tools that can be used immediately, shared with loved ones, and updated over time.

Why should I plan for this now?

Because waiting often leaves families with confusion, stress, and unexpected financial or legal tasks at the worst possible time. Preparing early is a kindness to the people you love.

Can the checklists be gifted or shared?

Yes. You will have the option to purchase downloadable checklists to help your parents, spouses, or adult children get prepared.
